Your first visit

Sessions in English or Spanish

Everything you need to know before you come.

What to expect

Your first session is special: we take the time to get to know you so the treatment really fits.

1

A short chat about your history

We talk about what’s bothering you, your medical background and your daily habits. I want to understand you as a person, not just your pain.

2

Posture and mobility assessment

I look at your posture, joint mobility and muscle tension to find where the problem is really coming from.

3

Tailored treatment

I use the techniques that suit you best: structural, visceral or cranial osteopathy, depending on what you need.

4

Explanation and advice

I explain what I found and what we worked on, and give you guidance or simple exercises for home if needed.

Questions about the first visit

How long is the first session?

About 55 minutes. It includes a full initial assessment (history, posture, mobility) and the treatment itself. There is no extra charge for the assessment.

Does osteopathy hurt?

No. The techniques are gentle and respectful of your body. In areas with a lot of tension you may feel slight discomfort that passes quickly. I always work within your comfort zone.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No, you can book directly. If you have recent medical reports or scans (X-rays, MRIs…), feel free to bring them along.

Can I bring my children?

Yes, children are welcome. The space is calm and safe. If you’re coming with young children, just let me know when you book so we can plan for it.
